AGIBOT
World's first humanoid robot mass-producer — deploying A2-series robots across automotive, electronics, and logistics at scale.
The company that industrialised humanoid robotics before anyone else.
Founded in 2023 by former Baidu robotics engineers, AGIBOT took a manufacturing-first approach that set it apart from every peer: rather than pursuing research milestones, the team aligned with BYD's supply chain from day one, sourcing motors, actuators, and battery packs at automotive-grade volumes. The result was a cost structure roughly 40% below robotics-only supply chains — and a path to mass production that no Western competitor has matched.
By Q1 2026, AGIBOT had shipped over 10,000 A2-series units commercially — a milestone that made it Asia's, and the world's, first humanoid robot mass-producer. Deployments span BYD EV battery assembly lines, SAIC automotive plants, JD.com logistics facilities, and a growing number of electronics manufacturers. The robots run WorkGPT, a proprietary multimodal AI backbone built on Tencent's Hunyuan model, enabling natural-language task assignment directly from floor supervisors in Mandarin.
AGIBOT's A2 platform is designed around modular limb assemblies swappable in under 20 minutes on a factory floor — a deliberate prioritisation of repairability over peak athletic performance. Field data from deployed units reports a mean time between failures exceeding 2,000 operating hours. With a second Shanghai factory under construction and an international distribution push targeting Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, AGIBOT is positioning itself as the volume anchor of Asia's humanoid era.
Humanoid Robot Models
The foundation of AGIBOT's A2 platform, designed for service, reception, and light logistics. WorkGPT multimodal AI enables natural-language task assignment with 96% accuracy, while modular limb assemblies ensure rapid field replacement. Deployed across hospitality, retail, and enterprise reception environments throughout China.
Enhanced-payload variant of the A2 Standard, sharing the same 169 cm form factor but equipped with reinforced actuators for light industrial tasks. Targets mid-complexity assembly operations where the Standard's payload is insufficient but a fully industrial platform is not required. Ideal for electronics sub-assembly and quality inspection workflows.
Purpose-built for factory production lines, the A2-W trades legs for a wheeled base to maximise stability and shift endurance. With a 2,000 Wh battery enabling extended shifts without recharging, RGBD cameras, and multi-network connectivity (5G, Ethernet, WiFi), it is AGIBOT's primary deployment platform for BYD and SAIC automotive facilities.
AGIBOT's performance flagship, winning gold at the World Humanoid Robot Games 2025 and showcased at CES 2026 as the "Terracotta Warrior" installation. The A2 Ultra introduces breakthrough coordinated multi-robot intelligence, enabling fleets of units to operate synchronised tasks without human choreography — a capability that signals where AGIBOT's software platform is heading.
